Easy French Food and Recipes

French Restaurants

Dining out in French restaurants usually makes for memorable experiences. The food is served slowly and over several courses, enhancing enjoyment with anticipation. The service is hopefully discrete yet present. The decor, while possibly simple, certainly elegant and refined.

Well, that's ideally. Perhaps in reality, the dining experience falls a bit short. Of course, when things go wrong, that's when they get interesting!

Do you have a great French dining story you'd like to share with other readers? French-style restaurants are all over the world and we'd love to hear about your experience in your part of the world.

You might like to include the following information:

  • A description of the decor, exterior and interior, including the overall ambiance. Is it family friendly, chic, snobbish?
  • What are the prices like - student cheap (pretty rare in a French-style restaurant, I know) - or break the bank outrageous?
  • How was the service?
  • Most importantly what did you eat and did you like it? Details, details - we all like to salivate over other people's dining experiences.
  • Upload a photo if you have one - especially if you took a shot of that awesomely lavish dessert plate.
